Please can anyone give us some hints for travelling to and from Charles de Gaulle airport to the centre of Paris. Would a taxi be very expensive as in travelling from Heathrow to London? Which is better the train or bus? and are they easy to find? We're going tomorrow!
Many thanks, Bramleyboy

the RER train line
Yes, take the train.
the B line, to be precise... goes to Gare du Nord and Chatelet les Halles (and on out to Orly airport) oodles of Metro lines to change to at thsoe two stops.
As others have said, I'd definitely take the RER train.
I always use the Roissy Bus which picks up from all the terminals in CDG airport. Fare 10 euros and journey time to "Opera" about 40 minutes. Buses
every 10 mins or so.
a taxi would be very expensive and the taxi drivers we encountered there were the rudest ever. The woman at customer services even apologised for them.
the train's cheaper than the bus, then, as well as quicker
Depends where in Paris you want to go. I got the Airfrance bus in, which handily stopped a couple of streets from the hotel I was staying in. Easy to google though, http://www.charlesdegaulleairport.co.uk/
