Monday morning - tough day ahead pour moi but some good news to impart - on Sunday morning the GFs granddaughter gave birth to a 5lb 11 and half oz girl - named Poppy Wyn. G has been doing my head in all weekend when the Gd went into labour. Though we are not yet wed, I am going to known as great granddad. As for that thing about men crying over the birth - don't be silly, of course we all did!! Have a happy day

Nothing so world-shattering over here in this corner. Woke up to a heavy sea fret which is now clearing, looks like another nice day is in store :-)

We hardly ever do, murray - it's not that much cheaper these days.... and don't you find that people never do the things which are on their doorstep?! It's been five years since I last went across to France.

True...can't remember when I last went to Edinburgh Castle etc. Same when I lived in London....never did the tourist trail !

One of the things here is to cut the grass - it's been impossible to get out there to reasonably dry grass! Hint of a mizzle out there again - what boxy calls a fret - haven't heard that one.

Nope...if I can't get into garden then think I'll make a start clearing wardrobes...

From garden shed to closet.....should see the mater's collection. You would be either in 7th heaven or in tears, she being a serious hoarder here. She has still got dresses from when she was a late teenager - quite valuable, we believe, as they are 'Victoria Horricks (spelling there), they need a clean though but are in good shape - which is remarkable given how things are piled up.
