Purple Bug

Please has anyone an idea what this bug is on a fir tree in my sisters garden? It is ladybird sized and purple/mauve in colour. Thankyou for any answers.

Could it be one of these, they are two toned in colour purple/green, I've loads of them on the Rosemary bush
