On the 7th of April 2010 I had written a post entreating the return of my favourite classic comedy...I find it hugely ironic that it is returning. Maybe Roy Clarke uses AnswerBank on a regular basis?

The post-millionaire episodes ruined Only Fools and Horses for me. I'll never see it the same.
Red dwarf was meh, ok but the finale to the IT crowd recently was ace.

With reference to andy-hughes answer.
As I said and what andy hughes explained also; the dynamics of the story would shift because of the passing of time, but there still is a back story to be told...More e-e-errand boy jokes Granville!
