Foreign pen pals!

Does anyone know any SAFE places where I can find teen pen pals/email pals from outside Britain?  Say a website? Emphasis on the safe :P

If you're not familiar with friendship books, they're a great way to meet/develop new pen pals.  Years ago, I was heavily into pen-palling (had 40-some at one time), and I'd found most of them through friendship books.
