Over the years many groups of people have been pilloried, abused and shunned, such as the Irish, blacks, gays, smokers.
Now it is the fatties turn. I'm on the larger side myself.

In your original list, the only one which anybody has any control over is the smokers. I certainly wouldn't want to go back to the time when every Pub and cafe stuck of cigarette smoke and every table had its overflowing ashtray.
I too am a little on the "cuddly" side and apart from not really having enough room in Economy on my rare visits abroad, I haven't really noticed any discrimination. But, just like the smokers, I could alter that if I desired.
