Pmu Crossword 42 Confused On Two Answers. 6D And 11 Across

Hi I only have two to go but am getting totally confused here. I have Mandate for 5 across which means 6 down begins with A---R-B-E. For 11 across I have O-e---l-e- but am lost until I get 6 down. Can anyone help?

5a, i have Statute ,6,7,8D . i have , Tolerable , Tearful and Theme .

Sorry first time using the bank. 6D is That may be borne, 11 across strained.
You can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink :)

Try and write the clue as it is in the paper. No of letters(?)Etc.

Hi 6d is that may be borne(9 letters) I have the letters A---r-b-e. 11A Strained(10 letters) I have o-e---l-e-. My letters to 6 down appear correct unless I have 5 across wrong the clue is Act of a corporation (7 letter) and I have mandate which appears correct.
