Often when i try to sign in, i just get diverted back to the page i was on in the first place but without being signed in. this can go on for maybe 10 - 20 attempts to sign in when it either miraculously works or I give up.

It is not a problem with cookies as I have tried it on several different PCs and have emailed the AB Ed a few times but have never got an acknowledgment.

Has anyone got any ideas or any way I could contact the AB Ed, without going through the site?

This happened to me this week chazza, for the first time ever.

There is a contact us button on the bottom of the page and you don't need to sign in to use it.
I signed my dad up a few months ago with his correct addy etc, and now every time he signs in he recieves the same e mail add on his profile from another user. He also recieves all their 'answers', have told ed about the problem but nothing has been done :-(

I have used the contact us button twice but AB Ed has ignored i t both times
It happened to me again yesterday chazza. I have also again contacted the Ed but have yet to hear from her. Are you hiding from us Ed?
chazza, Your browser probably has problems with writing cookies. Try to delete temporary internet files in your Internet Explorer (Tools > Internet Options > [Delete Files...] button in Temporary Internet files section).

Or just use a decent web browser, i.e. FireFox, Safari, Opera, etc.
thank you Jjp - just what I was going to recommend. If you continue to have these problems chazza, please let us know on this thread.

Jjp as stated in the original question, it is not a problem with cookies, and doing what you suggested seems to create the problem in the first place. I cannot change browser as it is a work PC

AB Ed i had the same problem this morning

This has only happened to me since the recent changes. There is no problem with my browser and I always delete temporary internet files.

chazza: Only that you said 'It is not a problem with cookies' does not proove anything.

I have just done what I suggested and could sign in without any problem.

My IE is: 6.0.3790.1830

See what version of IE you are using. Menu Help > About Internet Explorer

Tell me what those 'several different PCs' have in common? Maybe some toolbars like Google or other MSN crap installed? Are all those PCs updated? Virus free?

Give more details about each step you are doing while signing in.

gessoo: What do you exactly mean by 'recent changes'?
When the signing in page took on a different appearance recently.

My computer is maintained and kept up to date professionally (professional in the family who is meticulous). I have been using ABank for ages and it seems too much of a coincidence that this happened to me at the same time as the signing in page changed and at the same time that it happened to chazza.

It's only happened to me on three occasions.
