I Have Finally Cut My Hair!!

I challenged myself to grow my hair at the start of the year.
I have always been a short back and sides or crew cut kind of guy.

After 9 months, my hair was curly and unmanagable and I wonder what I have actually achieved by not getting it cut for this long!!

I have a nice smart hair cut now. I shall visit the barbers once or twice a month to keep it looking neat

Its been three years since I had my hair cut and its now halfway down my back now. They say you should have it cut every 6 weeks or it will stop growing or get split ends -never understood that as your hair grows from the roots so why would cutting the ends off stop it growing?

It's always worth having a look to see what long hair looks like, and how it feels, and if you like it or not.

When I realised my hair was going to vanish, I grew it really long - it was very curly, but stretched out, the curls went half-way down my back.

Now, as a folically-challenegd individual, I have a Number One once a week, never have to bother about drying or combing, and it's no big deal if there is no shampoo for a few days.

i would like my hair back, but wouldnot wear it long, it would just be nice not to have a wide parting, but i accept that is the way life is.

I was simply a "wonder what it will look like" venture!
I have very curly hair, hard to style when it gets that sort of length. My mrs hated it too!
I am starting to thin slightly around the crown area so keeping it short regardless now. As a 30 year old realising I was thinning a bit was probably the sub-conscious catalyst for me growing it!!
