I think the rubbish brummy accents are amusing.
I have only seen snips, and I think it's hateful.
I can't believe it got a second series.
Makes Mrs Brown's Boys look sophisticated.

I can't believe it got a first series!
don't think its very funny at all, nor Count Arthur Strong either, for funny watch Mrs Browns Boys.
I love it. It is refreshing to see a sitcom that is traditional - embarrassing dad, common sense mum, outrageous daughter, sensible sibling, dopey boyfriend/girlfriend, funny nana (it could almost be The Royle Family) - with an ethnic twist.

I love that it shows Muslims as being Pakistani, Somalian, English and I think there is a Nigerian portrayed as well.

There is nothing racist about it. It is inclusive. If it is okay to show The Royle Family, Father Ted, Bread, Terry and June, The Good Life, Pat and Cabbage, Stella, Early Doors, The Cafe, Rev - all of which lampoon daily life, why should Muslims or any other class of British society be excluded?

It makes me laugh, not because it pokes fun at Muslims but because it pokes fun at family life. It is ridiculous, it is slapstick, it is unrealistic but as a lifelong fan of British sitcom I find it amusing.

Even the government of Pakistan approved the show, in response to some criticism, because it IS inclusive.

I agree with hc. Makes me laugh. Something old fashioned about it and endearing.
The chap who plays Mr Khan created the series, co-writes it and is a Walsall born lad of Pakistani Muslims. Sparkhill in Birmingham really does have a large Muslim community and the exterior shots of a mosque really is a mosque in the Sparkhill area.

You're right, Gromit, it is endearing.
I like it. but don't like Mrs Browns Boys. don't really get the fuss about that.
