Need help on America trip!

Hi me (19) and my boyfriend (20) are from ireland and I am absolutely dying to go to america for summer 06. I was there 3 years ago with my sister in virginia and i loved it. I really want to bring my boyfriend over but I dont know where to start!

What do i need to do about flights, accomodation and general trip planning? I haven't been able to find any good information on the web about it!

We've done road trips in Arizona/Utah/Las Vegas and another one in California. Unless you're going somewhere really busy you don't need to book accommodation because you can easily get motels on the road, plenty choice in towns or highways. If you want to stay the whole holiday in one hotel it would probably be best to book that in advance so you get the kind of thing you want. Depends what you like, but we planned our route round National Parks, although you spend a lot of time driving you see amazing scenery on the way. www.tripadvisor.com is a good website to help choose hotels.

I use expedia.co.uk always find them good and competative with their prices, recently got back from new york and used them for flights and hotel. easy safe and secure.
