Series 4 episode 1. How was it done? I know the cat is alive and well but it seemed so realistic. How do you blow Tiddles apart with a machine gun on screen without actually killing Tiddles?

I love animals and am not at all 'extreme' in my views - but it is surely unethical to drug a cat to get it to act 'dead'. A stuffed cat would be suffice.

I have no doubt that many animals enjoy being the centre of attention and acting may be something that they enjoy. But it isn't normally in a cat's nature to cooperate with humans.

Having said all that - I don't have a TV so have never seen the programme.
