Trying to get it just right.

It's hard to judge the Angostura.

I like the cherries, though.

I've just had an Old Pulteney, with a small drop of spring water - no way was that going anywhere except over my tonsils :+)

I'm not sure you actually put vermouth into a dry martini, you just hold it up so the glass can see it.

Indeed - I got absolutely and humungously wrecked on Vodkatinis at a bar in New England many years ago. The barman showed me the Martini bottle the next day ... still had the screw cap seal unbroken ...

Well I saw a bartender use one of those spray things when we were having cocktails in ... is it the Blue Bar at the Berkeley Hotel? ... and I just had to have one.

... have you had it out much this summer JJ (the bike that is) - I don't seem to have clocked up as many miles as usual, but it's been good fun all the same?
