Mobile Internet In The Us For A Uk Mobile Phone...

Hi there,
I am going to the US for two weeks at the beginning of October and want to have access to the internet on my phone... I am a pretty heavy internet user and my UK mobile company only offer 50MB for £30 of internaltion mobile internet... This clearly won't do!!!
What is the best way for me to get good quality internet while out in the US that I can use on my UK mobile phone?

I'm sure others will respond, but can you buy a SIM card over in the US which will use US minutes rather than your current UK provider?

OK. You do not have to answer my questions but I would wish you to know that, as you are a heavy Internet user, it could cost you a small fortune to use your mobile phone from the USA. Information from Martin Lewis is fully trustworthy :-

yup, buy a sim while you are over there. Which one to get depends on where in the country that you are and what the phone is. My Sis did it on her ipad and didn't pay a lot. Many places also have free wifi, eg Starbucks, so look out of that.
