Scarves

Am sorting out the glory hole - how many scarves can one have and how many necks can you have. I love them all. They are all lovely maybe I can manage to throw two out.

there is nothing glorious about it either - it is all done - and some sandals and shoes were threw out. Then found I had other lovely loafers - had forgotten about them and have just ordered a new pair Saturday there - these new ones look nice. Shoes and scarves. Love them. I also think you look made-up (ie finished look) with a nice scarf.

I don't have a glory hole - I have a glory spare bathroom which is bursting at the seams (it is on my to-do-list - promise).

sherrard just get rid - have a barren bathroom then you just have to clean toilet floor and shower. easy peasy.

Conne, don't throw out the shoes and scarves - charity shop again, there is a huge demand.

Our charity shop also takes rags which they can sell by weight - so OH's old jeans have just gone in the ragback, as has an old sheet I used to use as a dustsheet in the days when we decorated. Any clothes, towels etc not good enough for the charity shop always go (clean) into the ragbag.

I have scarves of every colour they are a great accessory brighten up even the dullest outfit don't throw them out use them as throws or just hang over wardrobe door for special effect.

No room, caribeing - everything else is already hanging off the wardrobe door :-(

To tell you ah the truth. I never called it the glory hole. It was called in my home the coal house - altho we never kept coal.

But when I go up it - it does bring back memories. Wish there was an easy life for everybody including

myself
my brother ( who wasn't at the funeral but yellow looking
my sister (who couldn't hardly walk at the funeral (too proud to say she is sick)

my teeth (will be the death of me)

my friend (daughter in law) problems

my other friend (whose granddaughter 19 and one baby is back with her in a one bedroom apartment.

Oh like everybody on here - we could go on and on and on like Celion Dion.

Hopefully will get out for a walk with Mr harv tomorrow. Good night all.

how do you freshen scarves? mine smell musty sometimes as all the different perfumes and make-up I wear gets all mixed together on them and washing too often ruins them. I once took ages hanging them all out on a very windy day but it didn't seem to make much difference.

pips - i freshened mine up for the cold winter days. just washed them - came up lovely.
