Truckers

Seeing as the tv was rubbish yesterday afternoon, Mr Q and I watched the first (and for us, the last) episode of the new BBC series Truckers. We were not impressed at all. Mr Q used to be a lorry driver and you did not take your truck for something like a joy ride (price of diesel etc) or you would get fired without a doubt. The characters were awful and stereotyped - Stephen Tompkinson's especially. We're giving up on this series.

we're not watching it - being also in the business, OH said he just knew that all the inaccuracies for the sake of entertainment would be bound to get on his wick.

I only watched the first one, agree it is awful.
