Hormone Problems
11 Answers
Finally my GP has recognised that my hormones are wonky!
She has suggested that I try the IUD, but I'm really not keen on it. I'd like to try the POP, but due to my hormones I'm overweight. Can I still take the POP?
Of course, once the hormones have settled, hopefully the weight will drop too.

Your periods become irregular and lighter at first and usually then pretty much stop. I'm the same, i don't want anything intrusive either. Whether it would actually help you though, would depend on the hormone imbalance. You could just refuse the IUD and see what she suggests next.
