I recently bought sum curtains from argos which cost me 45, brought them home they were the wrong size and ugly!, so i tried 2 fit them back in the packaging, it was impossible, i returned them the next day with the reciept and explained they would not fit back in the packaging, the lady told me u'll ave 2 try harder, so i did. i went home and tried and the packaging broke, so i rang customer services & they said there is nothing we can do. DOSEN'T THAT SEEM UNFAIR, THEY WERE PROBABLY PACKED BY MACHINE!

Little tip for thse store that say 'proof of purchase required' and you have lost your receipt. This does not have to mean receipt unless they specifically say this . Walk up to the counter and say to the shop assistant "hi, do you remember me...I bought this......last.......". When they say yes because they do not want to be rude, they have given you your 'proof of purchase'.
If they try and pull the wool, just explain what proof of purchase is as I have.

Steve
