It would make me angry too jeza. The sex of a baby is so unimportant as compared with whether it is born healthy and with nothing physically or mentally wrong. As daisy says some people don't know how lucky they are. Give my love to mic when you see him. It's a hard life!

Murray. i have followed your threads about your Dad so I know you know how I feel. Visiting Mic is a 6 hour trip. 2 to get there 2 to visit and 2 to get back. Unless it's Friday then it's 3 to get back. Yes it is taking it's toll, but I will manage. You have to.

What is wrong with you Anne? I'm not interrupting Jeza's thread at all. The whole original post was criticising the woman for saying what she did about her unborn child. I was just backing Jeza up and agreeing it was an awful thing to say. I sincerely hope the lady in question will be grateful that her little girl is born fit and healthy and that she soon regrets saying "another b****y girl!"

I would imagine (and hope) that it was a half-joking comment from a lady who already has some daughters. I'm sure the baby is very much wanted and will be loved just the same either way. I think it's one of those things that sounds worse than it was meant.
