That doesn't work on my computer!

To toggle between full screen mode and normal mode, it's F11 that you need to press.

I am yet to find out what Escape ever does.

Yep...esc escapes you from full screen.

Strange that 'Escape' does Not get Buenchicho and myself from Full Screen.

I've tried on both my Laptop and Desktop comps. Lappy ....Lenovo; Windows 7 Desk...HP; Windows Vista.

If you're watching a youtube video or playing a facebook game in full screen, escape does indeed get you out of the full screen mode.

That is a different type of full screen achieved by pressing F11.

Thanks hc, I have tested what you have said and 'Escape' is a quick one for use on You Tube to reduce the size of picture, furthermore I understand that it will act as a 'pause button' if one is playing an 'on-line' computer game. (Something I never do )

It would be interesting to know the type of 'Full Screen' from which both boxtops and ummmm are escaping :-) Also a further comment from Buenchico would be interesting. ☺☺☺

When I'm playing games or watching iplayer/youtube esc brings the screen back to normal.
