Any Techies Around?

My preference is Firefox, but I am having to use IE at the moment.

When I open Firefox a succession of New Tabs repeatedly open along the top of the page. I'm unable to do anything other than leave Firefox. Any ideas please?

My OS is Windows XP and this problem has only happened tonight. Not sure what to do next.

I had that once when I changed a setting to try to open a particular type of file. It ended up getting in a loop trying to open it by opening another tab first which in turn try to open it by opening another tab first.

Hope you link works for you, can't help, sorry, as I can't recall what I did to correct it, just wanted to express sympathy and suchlike.
