Slow.
For the last couple of weeks it has taken a full minute to get into google or internet explorer & outlook express. This is from just after turning on my computer in the morning.
During the day, if I've been away from my computer for more than 1/2 an hour, it's about 45 seconds.
Why has it become so slow & is there a way to make it faster?

dump regcure - at best it does nothing ... at worst it could cause problems (the others are fine)
(also run the disc check and defrag 2 or 3 times a year)
ccleaner will do a thorough cleanup job

(it's free) - run about every 1-2 months
or

tick temp internet files
(if you visit lots of password sites leave cookies and the rest)
given you're having problems - I'd take out the lot this time and just accept you're going to have to log in a few times.
then run a disc check
from a command prompt - or run type
chkdsk /f
or right click the HDD in my computer
properties | tools |
do error checking and defrag
then in
tools | internet options | general | browsing history | settings
tick every time I visit
disc space to use - I use 5-600 if there is reasonable space on the disc
and a history of 10 days
It certainly won't hurt to do all this ... and it could well help
