Aftersun cream to cool and moisturise, maybe an antihistamine for the itching - ask local pharmacist.

Report the salon if they are not following guidelines.
Nip to the chemist.....1% hydrocortisone ointment, thinly twice daily.
liberal amounts of Vaseline.........really does work,
and stop with the sunbeds!!
I'm sure you posted something very similar under your previous username, perhaps go back and see what advice you got then.
8 minutes is a long time, the one I used to go to had a max of 4 minutes.

Didn't they make you sign a disclaimer sheet before you went into the cubicle? Ours did, to make sure they'd advised you of the risks and it was your own decision.

However, if you've done it before with no harm, it might be worth finding out if anyone else is complaining similarly, in case there is something wrong with the cubicle

does it matter. eccles ?
No it doesn't Anne, but it may be a quicker route to relieve beezaneez's discomfort.
For sunburn, or any burn, breaking a leaf on an aloe vera plant and rubbing the gel-like stuff inside onto your skin is perhaps the most effective way of dealing with any burn. Applied to a blister, it will even let the skin on the blister grow back onto the underlying area. I don't know of anything else that will do that. Aloe vera will grow happily on your kitchen windowsill. Every home should have one.
Please be aware that now you've had your skin damaged by UV sunbeds you are more at risk of developing skin cancer.

Time to quit the sunbeds, methinks.
From experience, most soothing thing for burns, sunburns is aloe vera. Use it fresh off the plant or buy lotion or cream which contains it.
