Im trying to find the name of a pub that was opposite Scotswood Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne in the 50's, 60's & 70's, it was demolished a long time ago.
Could anyone help?

Now, this is really multiculturalism. As a Canadian I went to my local bar, owned by an Italian, and asked the Native Canadian bartender whose husband is a Geordie the question posed by the OP. He lived in that area, and suggested the name of the pub could be the "Ord Arms". He also said that you could start at one end of Scotswood Rd, have half a pint in each pub, and never reach the other end of the road sober!
