My Favourite Hotel In London

is far from posh...just slightly off the wall with great food.

At a recent show Sarah Millican asked for tweets about hotels to stay in while in London. The daughter, who was at the show, tweeted my favourite one as being great.

The result of this is that she has won a stay and dinner at the hotel...not bad eh....but how do I get her to donate the prize to her poor, hard up, pensioner of a mother?......☻

That ^ has actually been said to me in Ireland. I know it was a joke but it did make me laugh. It was when we got lost trying a shortcut off the Ring of Kerry.

Not a jaunting car Sibs, but it was a bright yellow, rather jaunty Vauxhall Corsa.

We tried to go across the middle, back to Killarney. We got lost.

Well blow me....the daughter has just heard she has been nominated for an award which could mean meeting the gorgeous Prof. Brian Cox.....She can take one other to the ceremony. If she doesn't take me I am putting her up for adoption......

Have sent her out to buy a lottery ticket as it seems to be her week...☺
