I know why Ziggy Stardust got voted album of the 70s, but I thought Aladdin sane was much more exciting and inventive - and still listenable today. What does anybody else think?
My personal favourite is 'Man Who Sold The World', but that's the beauty of music in general, and Bowie in particular - different phases appeal to different people for different reasons. I tend to enjoy the first five albums in Bowie's catalogue at different times, certainly no two are the same.
