how can i remove candle wax from my carpet??

You could try the old brown paper bag and warm iron trick. Do not have the iron too hot . Scrape off the excess wax and then put bag over wax. Use iron to 'blot' the area and the wax should stain up into the brown paper bag. But if its coloured wax be careful - we did this with a red wax candle and the colour remained on the carpet even though the wax was gone

If that doesn't work you can try the complete opposite put an ice cube on it and it will go really hard and you can sort of scrape it off ....

I removed wax from a tablecloth on Sunday with brown paper & iron and it works.
