There are 3 ways to watch
On the Sky Digital Satellite Platform
If you have a Sky box and an active Sky viewing card (whether or not you have a Sky subscription) you can easily take BT Sport from us. You don't need to be a BT customer - but if you have our broadband, it's free. And it's only available direct from BT.
On BT TV with BT Infinity
Get live sport in your living room with a BT TV and BT Infinity package.
On the BT Sport App or on btsport.com
You can watch the action on your PC or Mac, or on your smartphone or tablet using the BT Sport App. You need a BT ID to access the BT Sport App and watch online.
Or you can get it via a streaming site.
ichkeria - if you were a boxing fan would you opt to pay up to £15.99 to watch a bout on Box Office. Or would you prefer to watch what you refer to as a ''dubious streaming site''? Oh, you've already answered that question ///which personally I couldn't be bothered with///
If there was something I particularly wanted to watch - and in my case that certainly wouldn't be boxing but more likely a dead-rubber N Ireland football game that Sky thinks is less important than a dead-rubber Rep of Ireland game (rant rant!) when I would - and indeed have - resorted to a streaming site.
The reason I "pour scorn" on them as you put it is that I personally can't really be bothered with watching stuff on a PC -
... and as I was saying before something weird happened, can't really be doing with watching on a PC generally. Even Sky Go isn't really of much interest unless I have no alternative. With streaming sites you don't "subscribe" anyway, just hook in to whatever you want to watch. And as such isn't really an alternative to a package.
Plus they are, presumably, illegal, which doesn't bother me per se but doesn't exactly attract me either.
Handy though if you want to save money I guess
