A friend who just wants the pumpin but not the innards, has said I can use them. Ive never made soup although have tried it elsewhere years ago. Anyone got a great recipe please. ??
Ive have to start shift soon but will be back about 2pm and I dont want you think Im ignoring any answers given. TIA x
The reason I love the BBC Good Food website (and I link to it frequently) is because there are reviews of all the recipes from people who've actually tried them. There are some really good reviews here http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/7730/pumpkin-soup but also take a look at the alternative recipes offered (at the top of the right-hand text column)....
I just throw stuff in the pan then blender when I make soup and it always tastes good- pumpkin +one unpeeled potato + one onion + one unpeeled carrot + a veg stock cube.

Thanks, all great ideas. My friend is keeping the pumpkin for her window display so I cant roast it first, but sounds good.
Im looking forward to trying the BBC soup. Will let you know how I get on
Happy Halloween !!
