The NHS gets a lot of flak - so here's how it was today for me :

13:42 arrive in car park

walk to x-ray department

13:50 clocked in

13:55 chest x-ray done (no appointment - just a walk in service)

walk back to car park

14:03 stick card in pay machine - amazed to find 'no charge for first 30 minutes'

14:05 on way home

Big round of applause for UHCW Coventry

Well done you, and NHS. What's wrong with your chest?

Are you contemplating growing a pair? :)
No flu jab?
Good stuff.

I'm always surprised with the professionalism of the NHS, considering the stories flung about.

But then, I'm quite healthy for the moment, so I'd probably have more negative experiences if I had more contact.

Have had a nagging cough for much too long - nothing too bad, just very annoying - GP going down the 'better safe than sorry' route before looking at what else to do.
Yes ...that is worth noting "NHS performs chest X-Ray.....thanks dave................do you get the result before or after Xmas?
darn - I didn't have anything wrong with me today, I wasn't able to take advantage of the amnesty.

Flu Jab next week Psybbo - always have one for work reasons (and pour encourager les autres).
What a pity more hospitals couldn't offer the first 30 minutes free.

Well done UHCW Coventry.
Hurrah the NHS !
Hope all is well with your chest and it's nothing serious, Dave.

I agree sqad - it shouldn't be a matter for comment - but there is so much crap flung at the NHS I thought I'd tell a good tale for once.

Results to GP (by some sort of electronic jiggery-pokery) by end of week I hope.
dave.....;-)....well done.
If you want crap throwing at the NHS I'm your man, I mean woman.
Glad to hear it, Dave. Hope the results are just as promising.
I hope you get the cough sorted and if you do, please let me know
You will notice I kept very quiet on this one.....but happy you are happy..x
I had a Bone Density Scan on Friday. I bought a two hour parking ticket and I was out in 35 minutes. Pretty good, I thought.
Glad everything went smoothly. Its nice to hear good reports for a change
