A paper round?
You can do most things just not alot of hours. Im 14 and get paid 20 a day to work saturdays in my local home and health shop...Ask in shops!
During the week, apart from paper rounds, there are very few jobs which you can do. This is because you're only allowed to work a maximum of 2 hours per day and, apart from newsagents, there aren't many employers who need staff for such short periods.

On Saturdays you might be able to find a job in a shop, or on a market stall, but you're still limited to a maximum of 5 hours work.

Whenever you work, you must have a permit from your local education authority. This can be withdrawn if your school believes that your employment is interfering with your school work.

Most local education authorities have information on their websites about the rules for the employment of school pupils but East Sussex Council has produced a leaflet, designed to be read by young people, explaining the rules. It's available, in PDF format, here:

Chris
Last easter (i was 14 at the time) I worked in a cafe/restaurant at a local tourist attraction clearing tables and sending dishes through to get cleaned. I only worked half days because of my age but that meant that I could be lazy and get up late which was great. Also, if you live in the UK, you might need to get an employment card depending on where you live. I had to get one and it took a week to try and find the place and then nobody was there when I go there. The council weren't much help either. I went to an office that dealt with careers, training and education and they hadn't even heard of an employment card. How rubbish is that?!?! Anyway, you could get a job clearing tables is my answer.
