that question was yesterday, Zeuhl... might be a completely different answer today.

My own feeling is wear them on Remembrance day, but I think I'm in a minority.

I agree with Jude - it's de rigeur after a certain date on the BBC, even though they didn't officially go on sale until this weekend.

Humble apologies, Zeuhl, I did see that but had forgotten - blame the dementia. I do remember, though, that last year interviewees were having a poppy pinned on just as they were due to appear on camera. No credence was given as to whether they actually supported it.

Don't think for a moment that I won't be supporting the cause, regardless of the politics of war.

dont think it matters - there is no rule to this - they are on sale now so whats wrong with wearing them now?
