Not Receiving Emails

I'm not getting any emails coming through from my brother-in-law, although we're both btinternet.com and he's tried both replying directly to my emails and also sending a new email from scratch. Any ideas?

Problems at the e-mail server ? Have you tried going to the website and seeing if it is experiencing issues ?

Thanks Old_Geezer, that seems to be the only suggestion worth trying, although I don't understand why I'm not having any problems with emails from anyone else!
