For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I'm in the same position as you and for a while have been using various shades of Clairol Nice & Easy. However, I've found it difficult to nail down the right shade of brown because they all seem to come out darker. A hairdresser told me this might be because as you get older (and greyer !) your hair will absorb more of the colourant. Have currently been using Auburn shades (109 or 109A) but prefer them after they've been on for a couple of months when they don't look quite so vibrant. . I usually recolour every 3 - 4 months and next time am going to try a lighter shade such as Natural Dark Champagne (106B) on the basis that lighter colours might look less obvious as the amount of grey increases. So if I don't like it and you see a lady walking down the street with a paper bag over her head it will probably be me !
And on your other question, yes, I have had acupuncture for a very painful frozen shoulder. It did relieve the pain level somewhat, but didn't improve the flexibility at all and it still took about 18 months before it was completely healed. I can only suggest trying to keep it moving gently despite the pain. Hope it heals soon.
If you take zinc, this can reduce the absorbtion of copper in your body and vice versa, so a balance is needed for your overall health.
Foods rich in copper include Calf liver, sesame seeds, cashew nuts and mushrooms.
