thanks but as yet I have not fainted, I thought it may be a heart prob?

lots of things can bring it on

The vagus nerve is huge, even touching the stomach (I can get a vasovagal response if my stomach is too full).
In 99% of cases, I agree with bednobs.
In 1% of cases it is secondary to some other cause...e.g anemia or pain.
I passed out from VVA by swallowing far too large a gulp of water. It show, if God meant us to drink water, He wouldn't have allowed us to discover beer...
boxy....I think that you mean a "long" nerve rather than "huge."
LOL, yes I do - huge is a clinical term in this neck of the woods, meaning - long.

A bit like Chronic being used to mean Severe, that's in very common usage!
