Mm Links Results November 2013 Week 1

Thanks to this month's setter, 'Princess Di' (aka grannydi) you were challenged to guess four word pairings in the MM Links Game which has just closed.

I can now reveal that her chosen links were:

TIME LORD
SMALL CHANGE
SILVER MEDAL
CROWN PRINCE

All reasonable choices but with many possible alternatives, scoring was a little on the low side.

Because the links weren't really obscure, they were all found easily within the first few minutes of play.

Tearing hair immediately got the ball rolling with SMALL CHANGE for her 2 points with Strix also in time for a bonus on this.

Beejay then claimed SILVER MEDAL for his 2 points. Owllady was also in time for a bonus here.

Still with the clock on 9:01, Rockfordill claimed two points for CROWN PRINCE.

The final link lasted just three minutes longer until BigMac heeded the subliminal message in all those BBC trailers and opted for TIME LORD which along with the 'Small Change' in his back pocket, netted him 3 points.

I assure you that the number of letters for #57 is definitely as stated: (4,4).

I reckoned that this time there were only a couple of clues that I would class as difficult. Maybe others refer to meteorological events that you have never heard of.
