My friend is planning to have her baby adopted when it's born. She has all the information and even a councillor but would like to know if there are any websites for support of birth mothers? All I've been able to find for her is help for adoptees.

Oh I hope she has really really thought it through, and is not under any pressure from family or anything ... to hear mothers on tv who have lived their whole lives in terrible regret is very harrowing .... she may want to change her mind once it is born, and she will be able to. If not I do wish her well, but it is going to be so very very hard.
