Mac Font Help

Need to get a copy of my Mac bog standard Helvetica Regular not Neue or Light or any other variant from my Mac to use on my PC Win 7.

Have copied the .dfont file but no matter what I do I cant get Dfontsplitter to convert correctly to .ttf for PC

Have tried Dfontsplitter on Mac and on PC but its just not playing ball, keeps telling me its a temporary file blah blah

Have looked all over, only found one version but its not the full character set, getting pretty annoyed now and running out of time can anybody help me out by pointing me to or uploading it somewhere I could d/l from ?

I did find the one at 911 which I might be able to get by with for now but I really
need to get the original Mac version.

Really cant understand why I cant copy it and convert it, should be easy but it isnt...

Dug up my old Linotype library disc..found all my PostScript 1 fonts which has the original Helvetica...happy days
