when I want to down load something on bbc iplayer it starts doing it then a message comes up saying there was a problem and would try again later, but it never does, I have several things on now that are only half done, whats wrong please?

Are you on an iPad? On an iPad (possible also Android devices) the downloading only works whilst the app is open and 'in the foreground' - i.e. visible on the screen. i.e., if you switch to email for example, the downloading will stop.
