What Colour To Wear With A Red Dress

Hi everybody, I have just bought a long, very elegant, dark red dress for my Christmas party. Does anyone have any idea as to what colour shoes and bag to wear with it. I normally always wear a black dress to a party so find it easy to pick shoes and bag but I am having a little difficulty with red. Thanks.

Definitely match, unless shoes are black- then it doesn't really matter. But it will probably be difficult to get the right shade of red to go with your dress...

I've just got some sparkly gold shoes to go with my new red lace Christmas dress. I do have plenty of bags including black and gold but have yet to decide on one. You will almost never be able to match the red so don't drive yourself mad trying.

Whatever you do, don’t try to match it with shoes, bag, etc … unless the match is absolutely perfect. I’d go with black.
