90's Piano Hip Hop tune

This tune is from around about 89-92. Quite obviously a hip-hop band with black singer and heavy piano interludes, and I think it had the start of Talking Heads "You may find yourself" as the intro (not the words just the music).


Some of the lyrics are; "What's the point in hanging round in this part of town, xxx xxxx xxxx....


Get down a-bee-bop-a-lula, you got rock this party, funk this party, give it your best".


Anyone who went to Memories Nightclub in Essex in the early 90's will remember it.

Is it Planet E by K C Flight? That samples Talking Heads and had the elements that you describe. Great tune released in 1989 - sound familiar?
