how can you find a date in a topic on theanswerbank instead of clicking back 3or pages at a time to get where you left off at reading past questions

Type in the date you want, eg 13/02/06, in the Search the Site box which is situated at the bottom of the topics column on the left of this page.

thanks sir prize but even when you type the date in it gives you all the topics rather than the one I,m lookinf for namely internet +tech so I have to trawl through all the topics to get to the ones I,m wanting there could be 300 hundred questions that day on all kinds of stuff!!!

Yes, I understand what you mean. There are hundreds to search through.


Here is another line of thought.


Do you remember ANY word that appeared in the question or answer you are looking for?


You say it is Internet & Technology. So type in ANY word you can remember that was in that particular posting and then search.


That should narrow it down considerably.


Good luck.

Have you tried going into My Profile and selecting Recently Viewed Questions. Depends how far back you want to go.
No don't bother that doesn't seem to work.
