Losing The Plot

I always fill my pill dispensers on Saturday mornings, I have a real assortment of proper pills and herbal stuff. Finished everything then thought I'm one type of pill short. Had a good look but thought I must have missed ordering on last script. Tonight had another look, I am two types of pill missing. Thought what have I done with prescription I last ordered, where have I put it. Even looked in freezer! Then asked OH did I pick up script last week? We decided I didn't as I wasn't very well. So here's hoping the prescription is still sitting in the chemist from last Monday. Trouble is OH and I are as bad as each other for remembering things.

The chemist might put them together for you? Just collect them ready every 4 weeks. If you remember :D

Pixie I am normally very good at keeping up to date. As I fill it up I keep note of what needs ordering. And always drop a script in on a Monday and collect We'd or Thursday. But having not been well I can't remember what I did, OH can't remember if he did drop the request in either. We are a right pair.

Collect mine every 8 weeks. All but one blister packed with day of the week on them. Easy to keep track.
Have you lost the pills or paper prescription?

I have 9 different pills all running out at different times. I don't want to overstock any of them. It gets complicated. I have run out of Lithium and I hope that the Chemist will have it tomorrow.

Never mind! Just saying if you ask them, they'll do the lot for 4 weeks, so you don't need to worry about what you're running out of etc etc. I'm sure it'll be there tomorrow. Hope you're better now?

Why don't you do the same Wolf? When our clients are on their last week, we put repeat in to GP as reminder. It automatically goes to pharmacist, who makes up 4 weeks worth, in correct times and days. Never run out then, or get confused.

Thanks Pixie feeling better now. Daisy it's the pills I am missing. I drop a request into doctors and they send actual script to chemists and I collect from there.

Pixie - I am fine 75% of the time, very organised. I can order my tablets online from doctor and pick up from the Chemist. I have no idea how I manage to make a mess of it e rest of the time. The chemist are usually good at giving me emergency supplies.

My Mum now has hers delivered to her home from Boots so she never has to remember anymore - wow what a good service they give!
