Agreed, just like an episode of The Goodies. Laughed myself silly in the 70s, yawned all the way through Kung Fu Kapers recently.

Can't believe there's Norris Cole behind the bar !!!
Some things just don't stand the test of time do they ?
Question Author
I watched this series when it was on and didn't recognise Norris, was this before he joined the street, nice to see Stephanie Cole.
Question Author
Yes it was before he joined the street.
I used to watch "On the Buses" as knew a couple of Eastern National drivers. seems soooo dated now.
Question Author
SE really do build up past programmes in our memories, then it is such a shock when we realise they are dated and rubbish. I was so disappointed when I watched a bit of a do tonight. Couldn't believe how dated it seemed. Yet I thoroughly enjoyed it at the time. To be honest tonight is the first time I have seen it since it's original showing, wearer talking of thirty years plus ago so why be surprised, tastes hange.

A Bit of a Do, the comedy drama series from the late 80s, reminds you of Abigail's Party, the Play for Today from the mid 70s?

How?
