I know this is probably a stupid question, but is it not possible to get a convertible diesel of any make in the uk. If not why is that?

BMW, Peugeot and Renault do off the top of my head.

Audi & Merc also do big selling convs.


Diesels these days are (almost) as quiet as petrols, give marginally better MPG on the whole, and per cc give better torque, which is more usable in day to day driving than outright power - so a diesel conv is a fast, economical, stylish car - if you had told me that 10 years ago I would have thought you were crackers!
