I am a freelance music and entertainment writer in my spare time, so too many to mention.

Top was Linda Lusardi who is hypnotically beautiful, and really sweet. Bottom is Paul Weller, ever bit as miserable as his reputation suggests.

I've met so many, used to be somewhat of a celeb spotter a few years ago! I've met loads, some of the bigger names include Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Ewan McGregor, Take That, Lionel Richie, Robert Downey Jr....almost every pop act from 1994-2000. In fact the individual ones mentioned above are the nicest, all very down to earth.

I can't really think of any rude stars that I've met, usually people who haven't achieved much fame seem to be the nastiest!

Oh and i met Duncan Norvell (chase me) at a warner holiday camp...Nice chap with time for people.
I once met Tim Wheller from Ash in a record shop in Notting Hill. He was just browsing. Fantastic guy and he signed my copy 1977 which had been in my bag for weeks but I'd just forgot to take it out after getting it back from a friend.
I met Paul Weller last year and he had his photo taken with my son exactly as he did with my sons father 20 odd years before. He was a great bloke very intelligent - bit shy but very witty
Hey Andy, do a James Blunt and write a song about Linda Lusardi "You're hypnotically beautiful." Silly suggestion I know but if I hear it on the radio one day I want my royalties !!!

Yea, but I heard you were acutally dining at the home of a couple of Superstars last nite!!!! xx

I think I should get an award for beeing the naffest celeb meeter/spotter I hardly ever see or meet famous people. I got the bargain basement deal once and met Paul Daniels at Waterloo station.....I would have been more impressed to have met Wizbit, sorry but hardly impressive is it??!! :-(
Oh sorry I forgot to add Ian Botham and that guy from Lovejoy on my dismal list!!! whoohoo rock on!! x
This will surely date me... I used to go to the same church as Val Doonican in his Walk Tall days. Then later in my teenage years, Desmond Dekker gave me a lift to a party in New Cross, I had a drunken snog with Glenn Tilbrook from Squeeze. I have also met Chris Tarrant, very down to earth, and stood behind Paula Wilcox, Man about the House, in Marks and Spencers in Bromley.
Many many moons ago I was a Harry Nilsson fan. RCA had sent me 2 LP's from America and when I saw he was actually visiting this country I wrote to RCA England to see if he would be coming to Yorkshire. Harry telephoned me and invited me to dinner in London. He and his girlfiend of the time took me to dinner and to the Revolution nightclub. Dinner turned into a weekend. He was wonderful. Polite and interesting. Paul McCartney had been in the flat earlier and he had been singing the half written Blackbird on a tape Harry played to me.

i work in film and tv so i've met loads.

the rudest was some nobody presenter from Xchange called angelica. next was a nobody who was an extra in 'love actually' and a few other unknowns - funny that...

the nicest have been neil fitzmaurice, david morrissey, les dennis and paul usher.

eddie izzard was nice but a misery-guts

i suppose their response to you is different when you are a "colleague" rather than a fan.

Ally Macoist many years ago. Gordon Brown too but not sure if that counts! I looked after his mum and he was lovely and polite when he called or visited.
Now I'm showing my age I met Joe Brown (Joe Brown and The Bruvvers) in my home town he was seeing a young lady in my street.About 40 years ago
During the 1998 world cup I met and was chatting with Ewan McGregor prior to the opening match against Brazil. It was the same night Collymore got headbutted for being nasty to Ulrika Johnson, in the same pub! Anyway, Ewan was blazing drunk, and as he had just gotten a part in Star Wars was tellin everyone he was Obi wan, top bloke, still owes me a pint though.
