I didn't mean wolf-whistles aimed at us fairer sex!! I mean the aimless tunes men seem to whistle or sing whenever we pass or look at them. It happens so often that I take it for granted. A woman has never passed me in the street and suddenly launched into a "dum-de-dum-da-da". Do men pass other men and start singing? Much as I'd like to spend the day in the life of an average male, I just don't know!
probably nerves, like when you are are extremely angry but trying to keep calm and you whistle or hum.
but could be a way to alert their mates that they have spotted an nice looking girl, so they can all appreciate her
what tunes are they whistling? if its the theme tune to crufts or desparate housewives or something then they are just trying to be funny to their mates
