What Type Of Adhesive?

I have a cheap "canvas"stretched over a frame,could anyone suggest a glue to stick photo paper onto the "canvas" that would stick well with no wrinkling of the paper? Thanks....

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The preventing of wrinkles appearing is more dependent upon your applying the photo to the canvas than the type of glue used. Do it very slowly allowing only a small portion of the photo to come in contact with the glue at one time. Use a soft cloth to "iron" the portion that has been stuck, and then let more of the photo on to the canvas and repeat...You know what, it's really hard to explain in word, but I hope you get the picture (Pardon the pun)...:)

Spray adhesives are probably easiest to work with. Otherwise contact adhesive or "Cow Gum" (a rubber cement) if you want to apply it from a tin or tube. Personally, I'd avoid 'Mod Podge'. There are many who claim this is a PVA-based adhesive and thus has a water content, which might wrinkle the paper.
