There's this girl inside of me. Here name is Kat. I can see her sometimes. She is really happy and preppy and takes over myself all the time. She doesn't like me because I'm depressed all the time. So she cut me. I cut myself too, trying to get Kat to leave me, but she didn't care. She has tried to kill me. That landed me into a hospital. She warned me not to tell people about her or she'd kill me for real so I didn't. I was diagnosed with depression and PTSD from the time when my brother molested me.

Everyone tells me to stop cutting. They tell me to talk to them instead, but everyone thinks this story is bull. I'm running out of options. What do I do now?

Is this enquirer US or UK ? I guess US, from the vocabulary. The vocabulary also seems much more adult than the vocabulary of other 14 year old girls I know. If the enquirer is, as I suspect, the same person who has put up this questions on other fora, does she ever come back to answer the queries put up by responders ? I am waiting for my doubts to be answered.

Lilly, click on your avatar and look at all the many answers, most very sensible and helpful, from the first times you posted this question. You need medical help. You never answered my question asking what your mum thinks about all this.

You're not as odd as you think, lots of people have this experience but never talk about it. Growing up is difficult. You must see a doctor - if you find it hard to speak about it, print this page off and hand it to the doctor.

Thanks to everyone's help. I'm going to tell my parents on Monday. I'll probably miss Thanksgiving though... And, yeah, those people were me. I just wanted answers I guess to convince myself that I did need help, and I got that, so thank you.

As for my brother, when I was hospitalized two weeks ago I told them about him and I almost got taken away from my parents and my brother, but we put alarms on the doors and everything, and it's all fine now. He still lives with me, but doesn't molest me anymore.
