Benefits And Heating Grants

A friend is worried their home isn't warm enough for her partner, who suffers from COPD

I felt sure I'd read some where people on certain benefits qualify for help upgrading their heating system.

I have spent ages looking on the internet for information but don't seem to be able to access anything useful.

Has anyone been able to get this help?

There is also this one that was on TV a few days ago that gives you a one off payment of £134 to help towards heating if you meet the qualifying requirements which is you are in receipt of certain benefits.
